Founded in 1967 by Joyce and Nicky Porter, Oakley Service Station is now the longest serving Mitsubishi dealer in the North East. This really is a family concern and both Julian and Tori, son and daughter respectively, have grown up with the business with Julian running the After Sales Department and Tori heading up the Administration Department.

The family have strong ties with motorsport and media, Nicky Porter was the World Cup Rally Champion in 2003 and Julian works all around the world reporting on the World Rally Championship for 10 weeks each year. Consequently he has the experience and knowledge to passionately talk about and demonstrate the Ralliart division of the Mitsubishi franchise. In fact, the Mitsubishi Lancer Register (an independent organisation run by dedicated enthusiasts of the Ralliart product) holds Oakley in high regard for our experience and service in this exciting product.

Oakley’s aim is to treat all customers as members of its family so we often hold sales events such as nights at the races, days at the football and showroom fun nights where we all get together as our way of saying thank you.
Our ever growing database of valued customers has consistently ranked us in the top 10 dealers for customer service. We have achieved numerous awards from Mitsubishi in recognition of this over the years.
Here at Oakley we are proud of our success and commitment to customers and staff, in fact we have staff that have celebrated over 25 years of service. In 2007 we will be celebrating 40 years in business and many customers have been with us for the majority of that time.
